We encourage all our patients to come in for regular hearing aid check-ups and cleaning. Repairs, Maintenance, Cleanings, and Warranties come with all of our brands. We offer in-office repairs when possible on most makes/models.
Ototoxicity Monitoring for Chemotherapy Patients
Ototoxicity monitoring is routine testing to document potential changes in hearing while undergoing certain medical treatments, most notably chemotherapy. There is typically an assessment prior to treatment, throughout and post-treatment. Ototoxicity monitoring helps your physician determine whether your dose or course of treatment needs to be adjusted or your medication changed.
Tinnitus Evaluation and Treatment
Tinnitus is typically a ringing, buzzing or hissing in the ears and/or head. Our Doctors work closely with you to determine what your tinnitus sounds like, how it is impacting you, and the best treatment options to improve your life.
Hyperacuss is when a person perceives sound to be louder and more disruptive than others around them. Some call it sound sensitivity, and others call it decreased sound tolerance. Hyperacusis can make activities of daily life difficult or even painful. Some with hyperacusis find it a minor annoyance, others may be severely impacted by it.
Vertigo / Dizziness testing
Feeling dizzy lately? Room spinning, off-balance, or generally feel like you’re walking on a boat when you know your feet are firmly on solid ground?
Surprisingly these sensations could very well be due to your ears.
Our Doctors of Audiology will work with your Ear, Nose, and Throat (ENT) Physician to investigate the cause of your dizziness. Many people can benefit from a vestibular evaluation, including those that experience vertigo, dizziness, instability, and/or veering to one side while walking.

Auditory Processing Services
Auditory processing is what the brain does with what the ear hears. When speech is not processed correctly in the brain, ar auditory processing disorder (APD) can result. In adults this often manifests as increased difficulty hearing in the presence of background noise. One acts like they have a hearing loss but their hearing test results are normal. There are many types of APDs and they can only be diagnosed by an audiologist. Identifying an APD involves advanced diagnostic testing and then a treatment plan can be created. Treatment comes in several forms but the most effective is auditory training. A well-planned treatment protocol can make a world of difference to someone experIencing APD!
