Join us for an empowering and educational presentation on brain health and cognition

Brain Health Seminar:

Northwest Hearing + Tinnitus has partnered with two local businesses, Harbor Heights and Sound Specialty Pharmacy, to bring you an empowering and educational seminar on Brain Health and Cognition. Please join us upstairs in the common room on the third floor of Harbor Heights Apartments for refreshments and a presentation on cognitive health. Guest speakers from Sound Specialty Pharmacy’s Pharmacists Brad Livingstone and Michelle Kautzman will present and host a Q+A session with the owner of Northwest Hearing + Tinnitus, Dr. Melanie Hecker, and your Audiologist, Dr. Madison Cole.

Brad Livingstone

Brad has called Olympia home since 1991. Graduating from Washington State University College of Pharmacy in 1996 (Go Cougs!), he has followed an eclectic path toward entrepreneurism. He currently owns and operates Sound Specialty Pharmacy in Olympia. Brad has been involved in drug trials, is a clinical and operational consultant for outpatient surgical centers, independent pharmacies, and inpatient skilled nursing facilities, and has a strong background in quality control and operations management. Brad has 3 children and enjoys spending his free time on any body of water, goofing around with his family, playing drums, guitar, taking in sporting events, live concerts, theater, road trips, and visiting historical sites and museums.

Michelle Kautzman

Michelle Kautzmann is a pharmacist with Sound Specialty Pharmacy and leads off-site Cognivue testing & medication review. She began her journey in pharmacy at the University of Wyoming, graduating in 1991 with a Bachelor’s in Pharmacy. Over her 30 years of pharmacy experience, she has specialized in Diabetes Management and has led pilot programs like Medication Therapy Management. The part she loves the most about being a pharmacist is helping people with their drug regimen leading to better health. She has been a small business owner, a volunteer for various community organizations, and served on local community boards, including as President of Olympia Orthopedics Race Team. Michelle currently resides in Olympia, Washington, and during her free time, she enjoys cycling, gardening, hiking/backpacking, mushroom hunting, climbing, and traveling to adventurous places.
